Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of the sculptor C. Schrikker by Carel Willink was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carel Willink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landschap Met Zeven Beelden in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 241,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of the sculptor C. Schrikker von Carel Willink wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carel Willink erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landschap Met Zeven Beelden im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 241.500,00.
