Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition with arches by Carel Willink was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 85,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carel Willink - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landschap Met Zeven Beelden, which sold at auction in December 2015 for EUR 241,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition with arches von Carel Willink kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 85.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carel Willink mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landschap Met Zeven Beelden beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für EUR 241.500,00 versteigert wurde.
