In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Blue Cross by Brian Clarke. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,500.00 (€ 31,897.44), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brian Clarke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Computergram, 1981, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 94,000.00 (€ 105,006.38).

Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blue Cross von Brian Clarke zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 31.897,44) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Brian Clarke mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Computergram, 1981 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 94.000,00 (€ 105.006,38) versteigert wurde.
