Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Brian Clarke was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April 2021. The price achieved of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,333.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Clarke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Computergram, 1981 in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 94,000.00 (€ 105,006.38).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Brian Clarke kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.333,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brian Clarke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Computergram, 1981 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.000,00 (€ 105.006,38).
