Auction result well in line with expectations
The work C/13 - 1990 by Brian Clarke was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,008.00 (€ 1,203.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Clarke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Computergram, 1981 in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 94,000.00 (€ 105,006.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit C/13 - 1990 von Brian Clarke kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.008,00 (€ 1.203,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brian Clarke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Computergram, 1981 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.000,00 (€ 105.006,38).
