Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Brian Clarke could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Hoarder: Part III auction, the work Porsche Vase changed hands for GBP 378.00 (€ 450.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Clarke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Computergram, 1981 in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 94,000.00 (€ 105,006.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Brian Clarke konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Hoarder: Part III wechselte die Arbeit Porsche Vase für GBP 378,00 (€ 450,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brian Clarke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Computergram, 1981 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.000,00 (€ 105.006,38).
