Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work He Used the Only Thing He Had by Brendan Lynch. The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 15,062.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Brendan Lynch have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2015 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 16,875.00 (€ 23,268.12).

Im Juli 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit He Used the Only Thing He Had von Brendan Lynch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 15.062,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Brendan Lynch konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2015 die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 16.875,00 (€ 23.268,12) versteigert.
