Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Plaque 10 by Brendan Lynch for GBP 750.00 (€ 854.17). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brendan Lynch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 16,875.00 (€ 23,268.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Plaque 10 von Brendan Lynch für GBP 750,00 (€ 854,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brendan Lynch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.875,00 (€ 23.268,12).
