Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Da Bull by Brendan Lynch for USD 191.00 (€ 172.66). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York at Phillips in 7 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brendan Lynch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 16,875.00 (€ 23,268.12).

Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Da Bull von Brendan Lynch für USD 191,00 (€ 172,66) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York bei Phillips in 7 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brendan Lynch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.875,00 (€ 23.268,12).
