Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer, which included the work Future Puppies by Brendan Lynch. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,133.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brendan Lynch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 16,875.00 (€ 23,268.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer durch, in der auch die Arbeit Future Puppies von Brendan Lynch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.133,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brendan Lynch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.875,00 (€ 23.268,12).
