Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Boo Ritson could be acquired at Sothebys in London in February 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Godfather changed hands for GBP 563.00 (€ 776.29) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boo Ritson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Nina", 2006 in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 21,862.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Boo Ritson konnte im Februar 2015 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Godfather für GBP 563,00 (€ 776,29) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boo Ritson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Nina", 2006 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 21.862,53).
