Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Pilot by Boo Ritson. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,384.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boo Ritson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Nina", 2006, which sold at auction in November 2010 for SEK 200,000.00 (€ 21,862.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pilot von Boo Ritson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.384,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Boo Ritson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Nina", 2006 beobachtet, die im November 2010 für SEK 200.000,00 (€ 21.862,53) versteigert wurde.
