Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Swimmer by Boo Ritson was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2014. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,619.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boo Ritson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Nina", 2006, which sold at auction in November 2010 for SEK 200,000.00 (€ 21,862.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Swimmer von Boo Ritson kam im September 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.619,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Boo Ritson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Nina", 2006 beobachtet, die im November 2010 für SEK 200.000,00 (€ 21.862,53) versteigert wurde.
