Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Drawing For Innocence by Bill Jensen for USD 1,140.00 (€ 861.68). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Bill Jensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Givers and Takers in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,423.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Drawing For Innocence von Bill Jensen für USD 1.140,00 (€ 861,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bill Jensen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Givers and Takers im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.423,18).
