This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Throwing Dice the most expensive artwork by Ben Sledsens that we have observed at auctions so far.
