However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ben Sledsens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Throwing Dice, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 504,000.00 (€ 586,569.23).

Die Arbeit Girl with a Letter von Ben Sledsens kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 207.900,00 (€ 242.201,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ben Sledsens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Throwing Dice beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 504.000,00 (€ 586.569,23) versteigert wurde.
