The work A second nice break by Ben Sledsens was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November this year. It achieved a price of USD 279,400.00 (€ 256,142.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ben Sledsens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Throwing Dice, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 504,000.00 (€ 586,569.23).

Die Arbeit A second nice break von Ben Sledsens kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 279.400,00 (€ 256.142,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ben Sledsens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Throwing Dice beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 504.000,00 (€ 586.569,23) versteigert wurde.
