The work Wanderer with Dog by Ben Sledsens was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in London in March this year. It achieved a price of GBP 203,200.00 (€ 231,179.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 69%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ben Sledsens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Throwing Dice, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 504,000.00 (€ 586,569.23).

Die Arbeit Wanderer with Dog von Ben Sledsens wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 203.200,00 (€ 231.179,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 69%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ben Sledsens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Throwing Dice beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 504.000,00 (€ 586.569,23) versteigert wurde.
