The work Two Girls in the Forest by Ben Sledsens was auctioned at Phillips in London in July this year. It achieved a price of GBP 101,600.00 (€ 118,536.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Admittedly, works by Ben Sledsens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Throwing Dice in June this year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 586,569.23).

Die Arbeit Two Girls in the Forest von Ben Sledsens kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 101.600,00 (€ 118.536,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ben Sledsens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Throwing Dice im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 586.569,23).
