Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work O Pato (The Duck) by Beatriz Milhazes was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in October 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,240.00 (€ 25,963.77), 21% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Beatriz Milhazes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Meu Limão in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,612,990.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit O Pato (The Duck) von Beatriz Milhazes wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 25.963,77) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Beatriz Milhazes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Meu Limão im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.098.500,00 (€ 1.612.990,01).
