Auction result well in line with expectations
The work O Espelho (The Mirror) by Beatriz Milhazes was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,900.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Beatriz Milhazes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Meu Limão in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,612,990.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit O Espelho (The Mirror) von Beatriz Milhazes kam im Oktober 2020 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 11.900,06) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Beatriz Milhazes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Meu Limão im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.098.500,00 (€ 1.612.990,01).
