The work "Icco" by Barbro Bäckström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year. It achieved a price of SEK 19,000.00 (€ 1,738.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barbro Bäckström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Badare" (Bathing) in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 400,000.00 (€ 42,251.70).

Die Arbeit "Icco" von Barbro Bäckström kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 19.000,00 (€ 1.738,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Barbro Bäckström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Badare" (Bathing) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 400.000,00 (€ 42.251,70).
