A top price for Barbro Bäckström - as previously expected
In May 2012 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm, which included the work "Badare" (Bathing) by Barbro Bäckström. The result of SEK 400,000.00 (€ 42,251.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 400,000.00 – 450,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Badare" (Bathing) is the most expensive artwork by Barbro Bäckström that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2012 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Badare" (Bathing) von Barbro Bäckström zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 400.000,00 (€ 42.251,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 400.000,00 – 450.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Badare" (Bathing) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Barbro Bäckström, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
