Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bust by Avery Singer was sold in the Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Avery Singer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Happening in May last year with an auction result of USD 5,253,000.00 (€ 4,895,163.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bust von Avery Singer wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 252.000,00 (€ 234.833,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Avery Singer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Happening im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.253.000,00 (€ 4.895.163,54).
