Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Post-Millennium Evening Sale, which included the work The Great Muses by Avery Singer. The price achieved of HKD 23,250,000.00 (€ 2,885,135.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000,000.00 – 30,000,000.00. Other works by Avery Singer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Happening was auctioned for USD 5,253,000.00 (€ 4,895,163.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Great Muses von Avery Singer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.250.000,00 (€ 2.885.135,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000.000,00 – 30.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Avery Singer konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Happening für USD 5.253.000,00 (€ 4.895.163,54) versteigert.
