Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Avery Singer was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 13,685,000.00 (€ 1,605,867.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 11,000,000.00 – 18,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Avery Singer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Happening, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 5,253,000.00 (€ 4,895,163.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Avery Singer kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 13.685.000,00 (€ 1.605.867,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 11.000.000,00 – 18.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Avery Singer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Happening beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 5.253.000,00 (€ 4.895.163,54) versteigert wurde.
