This work without title by Avery Singer was sold in the Post-Millennium Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 31,835,000.00 (€ 3,815,777.64), 59% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Avery Singer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Happening sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of USD 5,253,000.00 (€ 4,895,163.54).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Avery Singer wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 31.835.000,00 (€ 3.815.777,64) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Avery Singer; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Happening im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 5.253.000,00 (€ 4.895.163,54).
