This artwork by Avery Singer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. In the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction, the work Prada Mask sold for HKD 693,000.00 (€ 81,320.13) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Avery Singer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Happening in May last year with an auction result of USD 5,253,000.00 (€ 4,895,163.54).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Avery Singer erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Prada Mask für HKD 693.000,00 (€ 81.320,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Avery Singer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Happening im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.253.000,00 (€ 4.895.163,54).
