In December 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session, which included the work Crowd Pleaser by Austyn Weiner. The »bidding war« ended at USD 37,800.00 (€ 30,907.60), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Austyn Weiner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Working Through Not Knowing A Damn Thing About Any Thing in October last year with an auction result of GBP 226,800.00 (€ 264,219.49).

Im Dezember 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crowd Pleaser von Austyn Weiner zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 30.907,60) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Austyn Weiner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Working Through Not Knowing A Damn Thing About Any Thing im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 226.800,00 (€ 264.219,49).
