The work Between the Cracks I Grow by Austyn Weiner was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 63,000.00 (€ 57,755.78), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Austyn Weiner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Working Through Not Knowing A Damn Thing About Any Thing in October last year with an auction result of GBP 226,800.00 (€ 264,219.49).

Die Arbeit Between the Cracks I Grow von Austyn Weiner wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 57.755,78) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Austyn Weiner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Working Through Not Knowing A Damn Thing About Any Thing im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 226.800,00 (€ 264.219,49).
