This artwork by Arthur Segal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2019. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Metall-Stilleben (Prismatische Lichtkonstruktion) (Metal Still Life (Prismic Light Construction)) sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,498.02) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Segal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Selbstporträt“. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 375,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Segal erzielte im Februar 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Metall-Stilleben (Prismatische Lichtkonstruktion) (Metal Still Life (Prismic Light Construction)) für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.498,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Segal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Selbstporträt“. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 375.000,00.
