Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 107.768,40) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arshile Gorky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Charred Beloved I im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.410.000,00 (€ 21.461.312,80).
