Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2005 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Nicolette In Bed by Anthony Devas. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 228.00 (€ 336.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Devas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude in January 2009 with an auction result of GBP 7,820.00 (€ 8,802.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nicolette In Bed von Anthony Devas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 228,00 (€ 336,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Devas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude im Januar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.820,00 (€ 8.802,69).
