A top price for Anthony Devas
In January 2009 Christies in London held the auction 20C British Art, which included the work Reclining Nude by Anthony Devas. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,820.00 (€ 8,802.69), 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, Reclining Nude is even the most expensive work of art by Anthony Devas that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Anthony Devas
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20C British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reclining Nude von Anthony Devas zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.820,00 (€ 8.802,69) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Reclining Nude sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Anthony Devas, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
