It achieved a price of USD 7,040.00 (€ 6,495.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Admittedly, works by Anni Albers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Second Movement I-VI in April this year with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,945.65).

Die Arbeit PO I; PO II (2 works) von Anni Albers kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.040,00 (€ 6.495,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anni Albers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Second Movement I-VI im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 39.945,65).
