Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work F, from Triadic Series by Anni Albers was sold in the Contemporary Edition: New York: Featuring the Collection of Kenwal Steel in Support of GLAAD auction at Christies in New York in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,215.23). Admittedly, works by Anni Albers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Second Movement I-VI in April this year with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,945.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit F, from Triadic Series von Anni Albers wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Edition: New York: Featuring the Collection of Kenwal Steel in Support of GLAAD bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.670,00 (€ 5.215,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anni Albers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Second Movement I-VI im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 39.945,65).
