Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cloud Hill by Anna Weyant was sold in the 20th Century to Now auction at Phillips in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 285,750.00 (€ 332,563.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anna Weyant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Falling Woman in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,623,000.00 (€ 1,512,440.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cloud Hill von Anna Weyant wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century to Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 285.750,00 (€ 332.563,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Weyant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Falling Woman im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.623.000,00 (€ 1.512.440,59).
