In March this year Christies in New York held the auction Post-War to Present, which included this untitled work by Anna Weyant. The »bidding war« ended at USD 403,200.00 (€ 370,860.93), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anna Weyant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Falling Woman in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,623,000.00 (€ 1,512,440.59).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Anna Weyant zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 403.200,00 (€ 370.860,93) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Weyant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Falling Woman im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.623.000,00 (€ 1.512.440,59).
