Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Anna Weyant. The price achieved of USD 64,000.00 (€ 58,672.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Weyant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Falling Woman in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,623,000.00 (€ 1,512,440.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Anna Weyant zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 64.000,00 (€ 58.672,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Weyant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Falling Woman im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.623.000,00 (€ 1.512.440,59).
