This artwork by Anna Genger achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in May 2014. In the Auktionen 222-228 - Third Floor auction, the work „Light bulbs grown over with clover“. sold for EUR 750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 300.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Anna Genger; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "pigeons eyeballs swallowed by invisible rainbows" sold at auction in October 2019 with the realized price of EUR 893.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anna Genger erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Auktionen 222-228 - Third Floor wurde die Arbeit „Light bulbs grown over with clover“. für EUR 750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Anna Genger; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "pigeons eyeballs swallowed by invisible rainbows" im Oktober 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 893,00.
