Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Westchester County Country Club pool with view of Richard Buckminster Fuller Aquatic Dome House of Victor Bloom - scene in the foreground in the Pool receiving fellatio from an un-named woman by Angela Dufresne was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in April 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,008.00 (€ 837.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Angela Dufresne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Phillip Johnson New Canaan House With The Floating Museum And Conservatory Addition C. 2046 in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,084.73).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.008,00 (€ 837,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
