Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Andrew Lord was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2011. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,644.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andrew Lord have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jug in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,775.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Andrew Lord kam im März 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.644,01) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrew Lord auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jug im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.775,42).
