The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,490.45), 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Andrea Bowers; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Political Slogans and Flower Magick: Kiss my Feminist Ass! sold at auction in June 2008 with the realized price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,584.20).
