Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Andrea Bowers could be acquired at Phillips in London in June 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Political Slogans and Flower Magick: I hope Your Penis Falls Off changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,580.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Andrea Bowers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Political Slogans and Flower Magick: Kiss my Feminist Ass! in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,584.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
