Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Alexander Ross. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,154.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Alexander Ross have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work without title was auctioned for USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,169.46).

Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alexander Ross zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.154,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Alexander Ross konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2010 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.169,46) versteigert.
