Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Alexander Ross for USD 8,255.00 (€ 7,490.93). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction at Phillips in 17 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Ross - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,169.46).

Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alexander Ross für USD 8.255,00 (€ 7.490,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips in 17 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Ross mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.169,46) versteigert wurde.
