This work without title by Alexander Ross was sold in the A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange auction at Christies in London in October 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,364.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alexander Ross; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,169.46).
