Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I love You Too, Lichtenstein vs. Lichtenstein by Alex Guofeng Cao was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2014. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,980.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex Guofeng Cao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Warhol Versus Mao, After Mapplethorpe, 2009, which sold at auction in October 2012 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,328.45).

Die Arbeit I love You Too, Lichtenstein vs. Lichtenstein von Alex Guofeng Cao kam im Oktober 2014 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.980,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
