The work Seated Woman/Flowers by Agnes Weinrich was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October this year. It achieved a price of USD 5,334.00 (€ 5,047.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Agnes Weinrich; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Red Begonias sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of USD 8,287.50 (€ 8,028.19).

Die Arbeit Seated Woman/Flowers von Agnes Weinrich kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.334,00 (€ 5.047,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Agnes Weinrich; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Red Begonias im November letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 8.028,19).
