Sold at the lower estimate price
In March 2013 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included this untitled work by Zhao Gang. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,901.37) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Gang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 472,000.00 (€ 56,589.30).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im März 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhao Gang zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.901,37) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Gang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 472.000,00 (€ 56.589,30).
